No Piggybacks
Did you know some installers don’t remove the old GPS device and just connect a new device on top of it? We call this a piggyback. When you piggyback a device, it can pull twice as much power from the battery. It can also lead to privacy issues, with another person having access to your customer’s location. With Install Leaders, we make sure there are no piggybacks. We properly remove any old GPS device before installing a new one. This ensures the battery is not being overused and your customer’s privacy stays private.
Safe and Secured
Every GPS install should be secured properly and placed in a safe place where it’s not easily found. However, with some installers that’s not the case. They put it wherever they want, sometimes leaving the device loose and out in the open. This makes it easy for a thief to find and remove, which defeats the purpose of the GPS device. Install Leaders makes sure the device is secured tightly and installed in a safe place where it’s not out in the open for the taking.
Cut Ties
As simple as this task may be, some installers do not cut their zip ties, leaving their install looking aesthetically unpleasing. In worse cases, customers can be poked by uncut zip ties while driving, which can cause many unnecessary issues. Install Leaders makes sure to cut all ties — guaranteed. We don’t overlook even the simplest things. If your installer is not doing this, it is probably time to cut ties with them.
No Bad Installs
A bad install is when the GPS device is not receiving signal or is installed without verifying it’s reporting GPS. This can happen when the device is installed underneath metal, not facing toward the sky, the wires are not secured, or it’s just a faulty device. Install Leaders makes sure the device is placed where it can receive proper signal and always verifies the device is reporting GPS before the install is finished. This guarantees your customer’s device will always be working and locating as it should.
